The Mires christen their new 34’ Back Cove, Tilly Time Welcome to the Bluewater Family! RELAXING, GROWING & BONDING AT THE BLUEWATER SUMMER CRUISE Hank Sibley introduces the Young family and their 55’ Californian motoryacht Times Great Friends & EACH AND EVERY YEAR, Bluewater enjoys thanking an ever-growing family: those who continually come back to Bluewater for their next boat purchase as well as those who have just experienced buying their first boat from us. The annual Bluewater Summer Cruise is an opportunity to bring together as many trusted affiliates, partners, and customers at a sought-after destination for a long weekend of good times and camaraderie. The July 2014 cruise to Crisfield, Maryland saw impressive attendance numbers and ultimately many praises for the agenda of activities, food, games and family fun. From crab races to cornhole tournaments, seminars, open bar and a crab feast—plus sea trials aboard several of our in-stock boats—activities abound for participants of all ages and interests at the Summer Cruise. Departing from hailing ports across Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina, the boats in attendance proved to be very diverse in both type and size—ranging from 28 to 62 feet! Many participants started the fun at the Bluewater Yachting Center in Hampton on Thursday night before meeting the entire group at Somer’s Cove Marina in Crisfield on Friday. Upon arrival, docktails and boat hopping ensued, as crews got acquainted with the marina, joined up with old friends and met new people. One of the highlights from the weekend was the Saturday sea trial period which included trips aboard Bluewater inventory boats from Viking, Regulator and Grand Banks. Bluewater founder Chris Hall, Sr. happily helped man the helm aboard the Viking 62 while sales staff and customers rode along. Not only did customers get to experience the thrill, comfort and amenities 4 BLUEWATER
