The center of the aft casting platform lifts to reveal a tidy, lighted and super-clean bilge space that provides easy access to the fuel filters, sea strainers, macerating pump and more. A freshwater shower is also available in this space, connected to a 23-gallon tank. The twin outboard engines from Yamaha are flanked by two Power Pole anchors. Skinny water stalking can also be fulfilled with an optional 8’ bow-mounted trolling motor, which is also easily removable. The bow resembles the forward seating of other Regulator models, with flip-up backrests and durable upholstery. The cushions can be removed to reveal a large non-skid casting platform and plenty of additional storage. A first for the XO series, but previously introduced on the Regulator 41 and 37, the 30XO features deluxe lounge seats immediately forward of the console. James describes the details, “this generous seating space conceals an insulated drinkbox with drain to the bilge and includes arm rests for added comfort, plus the length and slope of the leg area is extremely comfortable.” While the helm, seating, digital switching and wrap-around windshield are all familiar to the Regulator brand and finished to the highest standard, this new model has another trick up the sleeve. The standing console half tower station is a first for Regulator and includes Yamaha controls, jack plate controls and more. “Through the sliding sunroof, it’s just a few easy steps up the console to standing at the half tower, or you can sit at the flip-up bolsters on the hard top,” James explains.
