CUSTOM YACHT MONITORING SYSTEM:

Custom iPhone/iPad app that connects both locally and remotely via WiFi and secure Wireguard VPN. App connects to SignalK server which provides access to all NMEA bus data and Engine, Genset, and House battery as well as Exhaust temp data via custom ESP32 boards that connect to Victron battery monitor serial output. The app also includes tide, graphical wind indicator and historic pressure data as well as anchor watch. Owner is willing to transition to buyer, including providing all code, helping set up free Oracle cloud account for remote VPN access, and provide limited support. The iPad Pro 10in mounted at the Nav Station conveys and runs the app well. Please note, however, this application and its source code are provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. VOLVO D2-55F ENGINE REVIEW

The Volvo Penta D2-55F with sail drive is a well-proven auxiliary engine that has earned a strong reputation among cruising sailors. Its 55-hp, four-cylinder diesel delivers excellent low-rpm torque, making docking, maneuvering, and powering through adverse conditions easy and predictable. The Tartan tradition of offering unmatched interior comfort is expanded in the Tartan 4300. ORCA features the 2-cabin, 2 head layout option with the “pantry” storage area and forward-facing nav station. Both cabins offer en-suite head access, and both cabins can serve as “main” cabins with spacious berths and ample storage. The center of the yacht has a large main cabin area with plush seating, lots of storage, and varnished cherry cabinetry. The galley is well-suited for preparing meals dockside or underway. Located to port, the galley also features the optional “pantry” storage option which offers additional storage lockers aft of the galley. A full forward-facing navigation station with electrical controls and a nav locker to house a full array of navigation equipment rounds out the central living areas. Aft, this 4300 is outfitted with a single sleeping cabin with en-suite access to the second head.

MAIN SALON:

With her 13’-6” beam, ORCA’s main salon is quite luxurious. Solid American cherry woods abound. Ultra-leather pleated upholstery is thick and plush. This version has a pair of large captain’s chairs to starboard with storage table between them. A U-shaped settee is to port. There’s a filler board and cushion to fill in the port settee for extra overnight guests when needed. The 6’-6” high molded ceiling panels have solid cherry accent strips and recessed LED dimmable lighting. The accent strips, once removed, allow all ceiling panels to be removed for access to all deck hardware. The centerline solid cherry dining table has integral storage and foldable leaves and drawer storage for gear. It’s easily removable for easy access to the entire bilge from companionway steps to mast and beyond to the owner’s cabin forward. EVERY deck hatch and cabin top side port lights open for amazing ventilation – NO fixed windows anywhere on this yacht! Flooring is sold cherry. All bilge systems are easily accessed along the centerline of the yacht beneath the cabin sole. Large deep solid cherry storage lockers line the overhead spaces throughout the salon. Personal reading lights are in thoughtful places. The forward facing nav station seating brings this space together socially with seating in the main salon.
