Tyler Gardiner
Tyler Gardiner has spent his entire life on the water. Raised in a boating family with a strong connection to Viking and Hatteras yachts, he grew up cruising aboard sportfishing boats and motor yachts throughout the East Coast and the Bahamas. His grandparents owned a marina, and with the encouragement and guidance of his father and uncle, Tyler began learning seamanship and vessel operation at an early age. He has owned and operated his own boats since he was 10 years old.
A USCG-licensed 100-Ton Near Coastal Master and STCW-certified maritime professional, Tyler brings extensive hands-on experience in vessel operations, navigation, marine safety, maintenance, and crew leadership. He currently serves as an East Coast Regional Senior Mate with American Cruise Lines, supporting operations across a nine-vessel fleet and helping oversee deck personnel, vessel readiness, safety standards, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Tyler’s technical knowledge was further developed while working at the Viking Yacht Service Center, where he performed service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Viking yachts and other sportfishing vessels. His experience includes mechanical, electrical, engine, generator, hull, topside, and onboard systems, giving him a practical understanding of the details that influence a boat’s performance, condition, and long-term ownership experience.
As a yacht broker, Tyler combines professional maritime expertise with a lifelong passion for sportfishing, boating, and the outdoors. He understands that purchasing or selling a yacht is both a major financial decision and a personal one. His goal is to provide clients with knowledgeable, straightforward guidance and dependable service throughout every stage of the transaction.
