Details

The Grand Banks 42 Classic helped define the trawler market with over three decades of production with little variation-why mess with success!? Just as relevant today this boathouse kept 42 is ready to leave the dock for your next adventure. The main salon is spacious and comfortable and a great place to gather while underway or at rest. There is excellent visibility out of the large windows throughout. Fore and aft sleeping quarters with ensuite heads provide privacy and comfort for you and your guests. Her twin Ford Lehman six-cylinder diesels make handling a snap and their inline configuration leaves plenty of space in the well-lit engine room for service work. Located in Tacoma with the option to purchase her boathouse at an additional cost or if you decide to keep her outside a full Lohman moorage cover is included. There is even a complete set of covers for the rails.

Accommodations

The fact there were over 1400 42 classics built with little change in accommodations is a testimony to their useability. The main salon is the center of activity with helm forward to starboard, galley to port. To the rear of the salon is a large L-shaped settee and table with a smaller settee to port. Port and starboard doors allow quick access to the walk-around decks. Forward is the VIP guest stateroom with hanging locker, large berth and ensuite head/shower. Aft is the captain’s quarters with plenty of storage. Ensuite head with separate stall shower.
