POWERBOAT GUIDE DESCRIPTION: With her versatile layout and unsinkable hull, the Boston Whaler 270 Vantage ranks at the top of her class for comfort and style. The great thing about a dual console is that she can do lots of things well—sometimes very well. One of the distinguishing featuresof the 270 Vantage is the double-wide companion seat to port, an innovative design that pushes the walk-thru toward the helm allowing for a larger head compartment. The Vantage offers a full array of fishing amenities including a 19-gallon lighted live-well, gunnel and transom-mounted rod holders, toe rails, and raw-water wash-down. Water-sports enthusiasts will appreciate the sports tower with wakeboard racks, and a beach boarding ladder makes it easy to get aboard. An optional “Summer Kitchen” package with electric grill and refrigerator fits behind the helm seat. The beam of the 270 Vantage is carried well forward resulting in a large bow seating area. A foldaway transom seat is standard, and a fender storage locker—accessed from the bow area—is beneath thehelm console. The Vantage’s 9-foot beam and 20-degree transom dead-rise make her a capable boat when the going gets rough. Twin 225hp reach about 45 knots top.
