General Description

The boat is a 1983 Fantasia 27’ Jeanneau cruising / racing sloop with a fin keel, the boat has an

aft cockpit with a trunk cabin superstructure. The topsides are finished with the builder’s

original white gelcoat with dark blue paint and white waterline. The deck and superstructure

are finished with a white anti-slip gelcoat. The general layout starting from the stem is as

follows. The vee berth cabin has a large opening hatch. Aft of the vee berth cabin is Starboard

and port side settee with folding dining table can be converted into a bed for overnight sleep.

Moving aft at starboard is captain desk with storage behind and above then there is enclosed

head. And on port side the galley with a sink, ice box, two burner stove and storage are, Aft of

the gally on the port side is the quarter berth. There is an inner liner that forms the basic

interior structure as well as adding structural support to much of the hull. The partitions are

teak faced plywood with teak trim. The cockpit has a “U” shaped foot well with a helmsman’s

seat across the stern and locker under the “U” shaped seats and the helmsman’s seat is a tiller

steering system with an auto helm control.
