The following year, significant upgrades were made, including the installation of solar panels and Victron battery-management systems, accompanied by a new set of Life Line AGM house batteries. Additionally, a new Dodger Bimini was acquired from Quantum.

In 2023, the mainsail was replaced with a Blue Water main from Doyle, which also conducts annual inspections and necessary repairs on all sails. The upgrade trajectory continued into 2024 with a new suite of Raymarine instruments, enhancing navigation with an autopilot controller, tri-data, and speed/depth features. Looking ahead to 2025, "Cadence" has undergone a major refit of its teak deck along with minor hull paint repairs, ensuring that it remains in pristine condition for future voyages.
