    General Description

    Evinrude E-Tec G2 / 250 HP Outboard Features

The 2020, Evinrude E-Tec G2 / 250 HP outboard engine installed in 2022 aboard Jack’s Fault is one of the last E-Tec G2’s produced.

    Current Hours: 130 Hours

    7 Year Warranty

    In-Cylinder fuel injected 2-stroke

Cleaner running and more efficient than 4-stroke engines

The E-TEC G2 has an internal hydraulic steering system that eliminates the need for steering linkage and pumps on the boat. Some say the iSteer system is a dream to drive and that the three different levels of assistance make it easy to adjust.

The E-TEC G2's power trim adjusts the direction of the outboard propeller thrust. The trim cylinders control the first 21 degrees of trim, while the tilt cylinder controls the final 54 degrees.

    Multi-piece polymer engine cowling

    1-Touch automatic winterization in 2-minutes.

Hull, Deck, Cockpit and Cabin Construction

Steiger Craft boats are solidly built – all fiberglass reinforcements are 100% hand-laid using proven materials like 24/15 fabmat, 24-oz woven roving and uni-directional biaxial fiberglass reinforcements.

The hulls and decks are solid fiberglass, as is the cockpit sole, which is bonded to the grid support system and then foam-filled.

The deck consists of 16 alternating layers of glass and resin.

Transoms are constructed of multiple layers of fiberglass sandwiched around two layers of 3/4-inch marine plywood.

The molded fiberglass stringer system delivers maximum hull and deck support, while leaving ample storage space for below deck fish boxes and a large capacity fuel tank.

Boats are finished with the best gel coat money can buy.

So confident are they of their construction process, that they include a transferable lifetime warranty on all of their boats.

All exterior surfaces of Jack’s Fault are original white gelcoat.

Decks are bonded and bolted to hull flange.

Hull to deck joint hidden by PVC and rope rub rail

Bottom is coated with Shark White anti-fouling coatings
