ACCOMMODATIONS
Forward stateroom: The forward bunk is a comfortable 6’6” long, 24” wide at the feet and 6’4” at the shoulders. Forward, there is access to the anchor locker and overhead locker storage above that. There are six drawers beneath the bunk and top-loading storage on either side of the drawers.
On the port side aft of the bunk is a double-doored cedar hanging locker, with shelf space above and forward of it. On the starboard side there are lockers and shelf space along the hull side above, with a changing seat and a sink with mirror to the right of the seat.
Headroom in here is 6’1”. Lighting and ventilation are from three overhead lights, a Hella fan and three overhead hatches.
Saloon: The saloon is classic Tim Jackett- well organized, comfortable and inviting. On port is a 6’1” long settee; on starboard it is 6’4”.The starboard settee converts to a double with an insert. Both settees have tanks and some storage below and storage behind the seat backs. Both sides have a fiddled shelf immediately above the settees and double door lockers and a fiddled shelf above that. Between is a centerline teak drop-leaf table with drawer and top storage.
The space has 6’1” headroom, four opening ports, an overhead hatch, two reading lights and four overhead lights.
Nav station: The nave station is located on port and is forward facing. The upholstered seat and back are comfortable and has storage beneath it. The nav top itself is large enough for a chart book and has good storage below the lid; additionally, there are three drawers beneath it. Above and outboard are the electrical panels as well as electronics, which also wrap around in front of you. A fiddled shelf is above all of that. There is a map light, an overhead light, one dorade vent and an opening port above. Headroom here is 6’.
Galley: The U-shaped galley has 6’1” headroom and is at the base of the companionway and on starboard. The deep double sinks are oriented toward centerline for proper draining. There is a locker beneath the sink on the aft side. To the right is the icebox, with two top-load lids and one low front access door.
Moving around along to the hull side, the oven is next and has shelf and locker storage beneath it. To the right of the stove is a tip-out trash bin, with a drawer above that.
Above all of this and along the hull are three lockers and two drawers. There is one overhead light, one dorade vent and one opening port.
Head: The spacious head is aft and on port at the base of the companionway. As you enter, the head is immediately to the right, followed by the sink. There is a locker beneath the sink and directly behind the head, as well as a louvered locker with shelves above the head. Above the sink are sliding mirrored doors on the medicine cabinet.
Aft of that is the separate shower compartment. This is made of molded fiberglass for easy cleaning and features an integral shower seat, with lockers below and behind the seatback, as well as a louvered door locker above that. A top loading trash bin is also in the space. The shower head is on a n adjustable height bar and there is a bi-fold acrylic shower door to separate the area. Headroom in here is 6’1”; there are two overhead lights as well as an opening port and overhead hatch.
Aft stateroom: The aft stateroom is entered from behind the galley on starboard. As you enter, you are struck by how bright it is in there. This is owing to the three opening ports and one overhead hatch in there, along with the light-colored fabrics and housetop. There is 6’1” headroom as you enter, with a cedar lined hanging locker immediately to your left, followed by a nightstand height locker. Both have fiddled shelves on top.
The bunk in here is 6’4” x 48” x 70”- quite spacious! There is a padded headrest along the hull, so it’s a comfortable spot to relax and read a book. In addition to the ports and hatch, there’s a Hella fan and an overhead light in here.
