Overview

The Princess Y72 made her North American debut at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, and the breathtaking new yacht certainly lived up to its expectations. The design team from Princess was able to incorporate all of the features you would expect from a much larger yacht into a compact and manageable 72 feet.

Room for a Crowd
Owners and guests will have no lack of overnight accommodations aboard the Y72, with four staterooms plus a crew quarters. The full beam master stateroom is entered through a private staircase from the salon, and offers a large double bed, a sofa, dressing table, and an oversized head and shower. Guests will be pleased to see a forward VIP stateroom with a private head, and two additional guest staterooms, each offering a pair of twin beds which can be slid together to create double berths.

Luxury Living
The Y72 motoryacht has the practical layout and refined elegance that Princess is famous for. The spacious aft deck gives way to an open and connected galley, salon, and lower helm, all of which are flooded by natural light from wraparound windows. The galley is situated aft on the port side, with a dinette to starboard. There is plenty of space to entertain in the salon, with a pair of barstools, two expansive settees, and a forward nook. The Y72 also comes equipped with a lower helm, so the vessel can be operated comfortably, even in the toughest conditions.

A View from Above
The focal point of the Y72 is the flybridge, which provides fantastic views from above, as well as some great outdoor social spaces. The flybridge overhangs the entire lower cockpit, so there is plenty of room for a massive aft sunpad, a u-shaped sofa, a teak table, a wetbar, grill, and another forward l-shaped lounge. The flybridge helm is forward and to port, and features state-of-the-art LED displays, dual station controls, and a pair of helm chairs. The flybridge also overlooks a seating area on the foredeck, which houses an additional sunpad and a forward lounge with a table.
