Details
WAVE DANCER is a highly specified 2020 Jeanneau Sun Fast 3300, Hull #017, designed by Guillaume Verdier and Daniel Andrieu and built by Jeanneau as a purpose-driven offshore racing platform. Launched in Spring 2020, imported to the United States in 2024, and now located in Annapolis, Maryland, she is fully duty paid and ready for a new owner to step into a serious offshore program without the delay and complexity of sourcing a comparable boat overseas.
Highlights Include
Carbon Rig – Water Ballast – 13 Sails – B&G H500 Electronics – Starlink – 2026 ORC Certificates – Duty Paid
Since import, WAVE DANCER has seen light Chesapeake racing rather than a heavy offshore campaign. The current owner purchased her with the intention of actively campaigning the boat, but his work schedule has become more demanding than anticipated and he no longer has the time required to campaign her properly.
North American availability for Sun Fast 3300s is limited, and WAVE DANCER is already imported, duty paid, located in Annapolis, and equipped with a serious offshore inventory including carbon rig, water ballast, B&G H5000 electronics, Starlink, upgraded onboard Wi-Fi, lithium power, EFOY fuel cell, Iridium Certus communications, North 3Di sail inventory, current 2026 ORC certificates, and a yard storage cradle with hull formers.

Why the Sun Fast 3300?
The Sun Fast 3300 has become one of the most proven modern production offshore race boats in the 30 to 35 foot range. Designed for IRC and ORC racing, the 3300 combines infused lightweight construction, a powerful sail plan, twin rudders, water ballast, and a carbon rig in a package that can be raced fully crewed, doublehanded, or solo.
Jeanneau’s infusion construction process reduces weight while increasing stiffness. The result is a light, rigid offshore racing platform with excellent control, strong reaching performance, and proven handicap competitiveness.
The Sun Fast 3300 is especially appealing for sailors who want serious offshore capability, strong rating performance, and manageable campaign logistics in a production-built platform.
WAVE DANCER is well suited for:
Doublehanded offshore racing
Fully crewed distance racing
ORC and IRC competition
Annapolis-Newport
Newport Bermuda Race
Block Island Race
Vineyard Race
Caribbean 600
RORC offshore events
East Coast distance-racing campaigns
Experienced sailors looking for a serious offshore platform without stepping into a custom program
