Bluewater Celebrates 2024 Success in Virginia Beach

Each year, the entire Bluewater Yacht Sales team gathers together for three days of learning, teambuilding, and celebration at our Annual Sales Meeting and Awards Ceremony. This year we hosted our meeting at the historic Cavalier Resort at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, where we heard from several speakers and took time to reflect on the past year and plan for the future. Bluewater management spoke to the success of 2024, projections for the current year, as well as exciting new offerings from our partners and our own in-house support. We also had the chance to learn the latest from Seakeeper, Seakeeper Ride, and Garmin so that our sales team can keep up-to-date on the trending technology in the industry. 

We also took the opportunity to welcome five new team members as a part of our rapidly expanding company. We introduced Babb Rawlings, Derek Rawnsley, James Ross, and Thomas Bennett as new brokers, along with Lee Turlington as our new New Boat Warranty Specialist. 

Keeping with tradition, we capped off our sales meeting with our Award Ceremony, where we presented awards for success in the previous year. Bluewater had an astounding 23 awards presented for sales achievements and administrative excellence in 2024, with multiple new recipients entering the mix. Sales Professional Preston Frieze earned the award for Top Sales Overall, as well as Top New Boat Sales, while perennial winner Scott James took the award for Top Brokerage Sales. Heidi Speciale, our tenured Controller, was presented with the Jan Boone Memorial Award for loyalty, work ethic and determination. A full list of award winners is below.
