Bluewater Recognizes Success at the Annual Sales Meeting
The Bluewater Yacht Sales calendar is always full of exciting events—boat shows, fishing tournaments, and cruising trips spread across the boating season. But there’s one event that stands out above the rest: the Annual Sales Meeting. Each year, the entire company comes together for three days of team building, celebration, and strategic planning in one central location.
This year’s meeting was held at the Historic Cavalier Resort on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, a convenient spot for most of our ten East Coast locations. The festivities kicked off with a lively evening at Tribal Axe Bar and Restaurant, where our team enjoyed axe throwing, dinner, and drinks in a fun, competitive atmosphere.
The following morning, the full company gathered for the business meeting to review past performance and set goals for the future. Speakers included Safe Harbor and Bluewater Yacht Sales VP of Operations Randy Ramsey, General Manager Wyatt Lane, Sales Manager Baxter Lusink, Marketing Manager Blake Tice, and Jason White and LaTasha Williams from MLS partner Boats Group. “The annual meeting allows us the unique opportunity to all be together as a single team, celebrate successes, recognize challenges, and communicate exciting goals that will positively affect everyone within Bluewater, as well as our customers and manufacturing partners,” commented Lane.
The following morning, the full company gathered for the business meeting to review past performance and set goals for the future. After the meetings and presentations, everyone prepared for the highlight of the trip—the annual awards dinner. This year’s celebration took place at The Attic at Waterman’s Grille, one of Virginia Beach’s premier waterfront restaurants. The ceremony honored 12 outstanding individuals with a total of 18 awards. Veteran Sales Professional Scott James had a banner year, earning Top Sales Overall, Top Brokerage Sales, Top Finance Producer, and the Paramount Achievement Award. Reflecting on his success, James shared, “I am thankful for the clients, friends, family, and incredible support that helped make everything work for the success of my buyers and sellers. I am blessed to get to do what I do every day, and I look forward to even better things in the future.”
Other notable awards included Top New Boat Sales, presented to the team of Jud Black and Carl Beale, and the Top Gun Brokerage Award, earned by Hawk Ennis. The full list of award winners is included below.
