I’m not sure I should admit I’ve been doing this for 40 years! I’ve dealt with all types of brokers, going back to the “early days” when we felt we could take adversarial positions on behalf of our clients.

Mark Connors and I just went through a fairly complicated and challenging deal where all parties might well have walked away, and perhaps should have. Mark hung in there, never losing sight of doing what was best for his client and ultimately what worked for both Buyer and Seller. But more importantly, he did it with an upbeat, ‘let’s get this done’ attitude. He was an absolute pleasure and professional to work with and that’s not always the case with many brokers.

I hope I’ll have a chance to do another deal with Mark as he represents how we should all do business.
