Despite settlement on our new Regulator 28 occurring back in February, I just took physical possession of our boat this week in Maryland. Words cannot express how excited I am to finally have this boat! While I’ve admired the Regulator brand for quite some time, our official purchasing process began at the Annapolis Boat Show with Jimmy Dean and Blue Water Yacht Sales this past Fall 2018 and culminated in a trip across the Chesapeake Bay to our home in Severna Park, Maryland today. Jimmy…You have been absolutely amazing quarterbacking this entire transaction! From our first meeting at the boat show though the delivery this week, you have delivered on every promise and helped us through every decision. You handled any and all concerns we had exceptionally well and I truly feel like we became friends through this process. Again, much thanks and I look forward to many years together locally on the water and hopefully referring you a lot of business. You are a true asset to Bluewater and certainly a great ambassador for the Regulator brand.
Vera and Amanda…I appreciate the time you spent with us presenting options for our financing, putting together a nice final loan package for us and taking care of all the registration and documentation paperwork. You were both extremely thorough, professional and patient with us throughout and Vera I especially appreciate you letting me beat you up on pricing a bit and arriving at a fair deal for all involved. You both represent Bluewater and Regulator well!
Al…thank you for hosting me for my factory tour and enduring all my questions both in Edenton and at the Baltimore Boat Show when you were here. You clearly know the industry and Regulator boats inside and out. You helped me learn more about my boat and all the processes and products than I will ever need to know. It was truly my pleasure to meet you and hopefully our paths will cross again soon. Thanks again!
Keith and Drew…thank you for taking my calls and answering my emails throughout this process. I really felt like you were both very approachable and responsive despite your busy schedules. My only regret is that I didn’t get to see you guys personally when I came down, but I’m sure I will run into you at some point in the future.
Mrs. Maxwell…I never did meet you and we never did communicate, but I feel like I know you as I’ve watched many of your factory and product videos, Facebook LiveStreams and boat launches. Clearly you have built one of the premier brands in the industry and, for that, you should be extremely proud! Again, I am so excited to own my new Regulator. You should take comfort in knowing that your company is represented exceptionally well by the aforementioned people! I wish you and your company continued success and look forward to owning this and other Regulators in the future.
