Regulator Dealer of the Year Recipients
Regulator University seems aptly named, conjuring up memories of those youthful college years… time spent in the classroom flanked by games, socializing, hands-on instruction, and everyone’s favorite — themed costume parties!
This year, members of the Bluewater team enjoyed a visit to Regulator Marine’s headquarters in Edenton, North Carolina where they toured the factory floor, inspecting the tooling on new features, as well as the overall production processes and technology that makes every Regulator boat a legendary ride. Bluewater President Jan Boone praises Regulator’s preparation and ability in keeping this annual event interesting and valuable to all who attend. “It is the best training I have ever experienced. Regulator strives to make their product, dealer network and overall organization the best it can be, all around. They are a great organization.”
In the evening, everyone assembled for a fun party, awards banquet, and costume contest. This year’s theme was the 80’s, and for the second year running our own Chris Hall Jr. and Sheryl Jaros took home top honors, this time with their teased hair and punk rock-inspired clothing ensemble. No one is quite sure if they actually still wear this stuff, or just did a great job rummaging the local thrift shops, but either way they certainly earned the win!
However, the Bluewater team was given a much more important reason to celebrate during the event—being presented with the ‘Dealer of the Year’ award by Regulator President Joan Maxwell. Accepting the recognition on behalf of Bluewater, Jan Boone stated, “We are so grateful to our customers and sales team for helping us achieve this honor. This is a strong testament to the Bluewater Advantage; our customer-focused professional sales and service team and the world-class products that Regulator produces.”
While some may think we attend Regulator U. for the parties and dressup, it is actually the invaluable product knowledge and relationship building which helps Bluewater continue to be the undisputed Regulator authority throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
