Viking Yachts punctuated the celebration of its 60th anniversary by announcing the all-new Viking 82 C. A second-generation model, this innovative vessel succeeds the highly acclaimed 80-foot Convertible, a favorite among both customers and Viking’s own demo team.

Thanks to advancements in fiberglass technology, the 82 achieves a remarkable feat: despite being two feet longer than its predecessor, it comes in at the same weight. Viking President and CEO Pat Healey pinpointed the 82’s advanced propulsion system as a key factor saying, “The one biggest thing we see that is going to make this boat special is the advanced propulsion system… to give us better performance.” Early projections are impressive, with a cruising speed of 36 knots and a top speed of 42 knots when equipped with the 2,635mhp MTU 16V-2000 M96L package.
